a weekend update

Stomp was outstanding. We went to The Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA Friday night with 2 other couples and had a blast! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory. My dinner was fantastic. And I ordered a fork for dessert (and got to sample 3 different kinds of cheesecake!).

The next planned show is the Phantom of the Opera in Birmingham, AL.

We took the children to get milkshakes at Sonic tonight ...by the way, they gave treats to our dogs! Then off to the SC Botanical Gardens for a walk with the dogs. On our way out...I saw a copperhead on the stone stairway. FREAKED ME OUT! The children and dogs were JUST paying there. I can not believe - but am so grateful - that no one was hurt!

Ok...so what is even more interesting is that I just Googled "Copperhead" to find an image to share with you. The 3 images I clicked on were form OTHER "Blogger" blogs which reference copperheads. CRAZY! So, if you want to see a picture of one, Google "copperheads"!

September already

ok...so it has been months. Crazy how it is so hard to keep this up while my full-time job is a web designer. Sheesh! This weekend we are going to the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA to see Stomp! We're excited about that because the children are staying with some fiends from bible study, and we're off on a couples date with 2 other couples (also laving children at home for some adult time!) BUT...even better is our trip in October to Birmingham, Alabama! We're off to see Greg Mills in The Phantom of the Opera. Again, kidless! I can not wait. We have not seen Greg in years. I think he met Nicholas when he was a baby, but that's it! Maybe it's been 5 years?!?!?! Yipee!!!

Nicholas has lost 2 teeth and is TERRIFIED of the Tooth Fairy. No way is he putting something under his pillow so a stranger can com into his bedroom and mess with his pillow while he is sleeping on it! Here he is with Thunder:
