just enjoying Fall

Saturday morning we went to the doctor’s office for the children to get the Flu vaccine. Nicholas got to take the Flu mist (since he was over 5) but Robin had to have a shot. She did not even flinch! The nurse was very impressed!!! I’m sure it helped other moms with their frightened children in the waiting room. So, when we got home Robin was looking at her band aid and Nicholas tells her “That’s’ where you got your shot” and Robin replies: “That’s where she shot me.”

This evening on the way home from the park, Robin was looking at the lights around Boone and exclaims “Look! That’s pitiful!” [beautiful]

A busy weekend with outdoor activities. We tried to get to the playground, hiking trails and bike paths as much as possible. Here are a few photos…
